During a recent official visit by Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas, Estonia and Cyprus signed a memorandum of understanding in e-governance. The small Mediterranean nation is looking to Estonia as a leader in the field of e-governance and ICT.
Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas met with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades to discuss mutual cooperation and issues within the EU. “I am convinced that your visit will signal the beginning of enhanced cooperation not only in e-governance, but also in an array of fields, including trade and education,” the president said.
