e-Residency has hit record numbers and exceeded expectations for 2015. When launched in 2014, the hope was to register 5,000 e-residents in 2015. However, so far, over 7,600 people have signed up for the program from 121 different countries.
In the latest developments for e-residents, Estonia and Bitnation launched a cooperation partnership on 1 December, 2015. The blockchain notary service allows e-residents, regardless of where they live or do business, to notarise their marriages, birth certificates, business contracts and more on the blockchain.
