Top 20 Startups in Estonia. Are you in? // Apply now!

Article content

Okay, we cannot get round these initiatives when we get to know them. There is an exciting contest for early stage startups based in Estonia or located abroad (but have Estonian-originated teams). It’s called Top 20 Startups in Estonia, backed and powered by EstBAN and .Contriber.

It works the way all the contests work: NOW is the right moment to apply; right after that, a jury will go through a selection process and – last but not least – winners of the contest will get to pitch their business ideas in front of investors, as well as in front of all event participants on December 9th at sTARTUp Day Business Festival. Needless to say that it’s a great opportunity for startups to get started with fundraising and expand their network.

The application process is open until October 30th. A jury of seasoned investors will select the top 20 applicants — selected startups will be notified before the end of November.

“You’ve put a tremendous amount of time and hard work into building your startup. You’re determined to take things to the next level. Finding the right people to invest in you can make that happen! But you have to make yourself visible. As a Top 20 Early Stage Startup in Estonia, you’ll get the opportunity to pitch your business idea at sTARTUp Day 2016. Pitching at the international business festival is a huge step in getting vital exposure to the Estonian Ecosystem.

This opportunity is also about inspiration. The event will be held in the new Estonian National Museum. Inside you will find over 40 amazing speakers on two stages with discussions ranging from lean startup methodology to computer-simulated reality to space-technology — there is something for everyone. In addition to participative workshops, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet with investors and talk with like-minded people just as motivated as you!“

We are pretty sure you want to know more about the contest and sTARTUp Day 2016. Have a look at TopStartups’ official website and sTARTUp Day 2016 to find everything you need to seize this interesting possibility.
